Amanda firmly believes in naturopathy as “the reconciling, harmonizing, and unifying of nature, humanity, and God.” She began working at Heights of Health in 2016 and was immediately enamored with energy work and its ability to generate significant change. Since working at Heights of Health, Amanda has experienced drastic, lasting improvements in her own physical and emotional health.
Amanda’s lifelong passion for food and health is readily shared with clients as she helps others discover foods that nurture both body and soul, and dismantle the fear and restrictions that often surround the dieting culture. As a holistic nutritionist, she strives to encourage positive body image, provide clarity and education concerning healthy eating, promote healing, and encourage clients to genuinely enjoy real food! She combines her education as a holistic nutritionist with her training as an ECR and MBR practitioner to utilize both nutrition counseling and energetic work with her clients.
Amanda graduated from American College of Healthcare Sciences in December of 2018 with her Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition. During her studies, she maintained a 4.0 GPA and remained on the Dean’s list for the entirety of her program. Amanda received her BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2014, followed by a position that aligned her passion for studying abroad and Spanish culture. Her previous studies and professional interactions continue to serve her well at Heights of Health. Amanda resides in the Heights with her husband; together, they love to explore the diverse music and food scene that Houston offers, volunteer at a local animal shelter and escape to the outdoors as often as possible.
