________
Our children are supposed to thrive. We are supposed to thrive. We normally do when we allow ourselves to develop naturally without undue interference and provide our bodies with essential components required for health.
Even healthy kids get sick sometimes, but a healthy body can recover quickly without any complications. The goal is to not prevent all childhood diseases, but rather to decrease the frequency and severity of illness.
The Immune system is working all of the time. It continually strives to overcome the many pathogens that try to enter the body, usually without expressing any symptoms of disease.
This is a list of some of the most important ways you can increase and maintain optimal health in your children and your entire family. Please keep in mind that you don’t have to do everything all at once. It can be overwhelming when you try to make too many changes too quickly. Begin slowly, take one step at a time. You may find that you are already doing or have done some of these recommendations.
I believe our thoughts and beliefs have a big impact on our physical health. Emotional health first starts in the womb. When we nurture our child’s needs and create a strong bond, it can be the greatest thing you can do to create a happy, healthy child that is vibrant, emotionally and physically. Sometimes an unforeseen tragic event or stressful situation occurs while a mother is pregnant. It’s important to note this does not mean that it will affect the child for the rest of his/her life. Every child and adult has the power to live in the moment and choose to see the glass as half full, rather than half empty. One of our jobs as parents is to be an example to our kids. The best thing we can do for our children is to help guide them to their own guidance.
